Great News Parents

Hey Squad,

I have teachers approved online resources for our kids. I know teaching at home is stressful during this pandemic. (Especially if we have more than one child and if we are working.) We need resources that are kids can use with minimal assistance from us. One of my kid’s teacher and I came up with a list that we believe would benefit all parties involved. (The teacher, the parent, and your child.) Look and let me know what you think. Most of these resources are used by different school districts, but they are offing free access during this pandemic. Take advantage of it.

Here are some additional sites that are not on the list.

One of the sites that I used for many years is k5learning. It has excellent worksheets that are easy to print. If you miss your child doing school work off electronics, this would be great. They also have a lot of free worksheets. 

Get epic – My son’s teacher introduces this site to me. Both of my kids now use the site. My youngest is in Kinder, and my oldest is in 5th grade. I compare this as audible for kids. Your child can select the book they like, and he or she can read it themself, or they can select the read to me option. Some of the books have a quiz at the end. Parents get 30 days of instant access. Teachers get free remote student access now thought June 30th 

Did I forget to mention that Getepic also has fun educational videos as well!
